Num Punpeng: Learned in mind, body and soul
There isn’t a brush broad enough to paint Num with.
A true polymath, Num leads and guides others with his broad knowledge, teaching classes and lecturing students across a multitude of academic, artistic and athletic disciplines — ranging from yoga, to theatre studies and communication skills.
Now, that’s what we call a Renaissance man. This week, we warm up with Num to find out what keeps him in perfect balance.
What’s keeping you busy these days?
Teaching at university, teaching acting and yoga, producing natural pet grooming products, traveling to new places, hanging out with my dogs and friends.
What are your usual workouts? Any activities you particularly enjoy, in and out of the gym/studio?
Practicing yoga on my own — I’m refining my handstand practice at the moment, and going to spin and HIIT classes.
What’s your favourite activewear brand?
Cheatday Activewear. It is a brand that my friends and I developed.
Who is your fitness inspiration?
Dice Iida-Klein.
Are you a night owl or a morning person? What keeps you up in the morning/night?
I’m both a night owl and a morning person; I like working out early in the morning, then getting coffee and breakfast. But I also like working and writing at night (I’m working on a monologue for my solo theatre performance)

Fun-loving, spontaneous, introverted.
