For 57 minutes, the trainers at Physique 57 Bangkok will have your body working at 100%. Their programme is said to be one of the toughest barre workouts out there, but if you stick with it, Physique 57 says that you’ll see results within 8 sessions.
Focussing on effectiveness, efficiency and fun, Physique 57’s signature programme incorporates elements of cardio, strength training and stretching in one tough barre-based workout. Each exercise is choreographed to music, making for a challenging, yet fun and graceful workout.
It all starts off with a warm-up with free weights, before a 10-minute long cardio workout, using playballs and the barre, gets the class fully rolling. Your thighs might start to feel like they’re on fire, but take it as the flame that forges lean muscle. Ditto for the segments that follow — the burn will persist, but it sculpts your glutes, waistline, hamstring and abs, bringing you ever-closer to achieving a dancer’s figure. Each segment strengthens your muscles, but also ends with plenty of stretching to lengthen them and minimise the chance of injury.
