Find Yourself with Benny Price
Zero waste, plant based. Benny’s instagram, @veggiehench, leads us through various posts of a life that has been dedicated to eating well and nutrition, and as a lifelong vegan, Benny truly puts his money where his mouth is.
Benny’s demeanour is serious, well meaning but funny. As he walks through The Hive Bulk Foods in Bangsar, he gives us a tour around the store, and shows us his collection of tupperware which he brings in each week to get what he needs. He also self assuredly, tells us about the impact that waste has on the environment and gives us tips we can all keep in mind to keep our waste minimal, injecting much passion into his words.
As an instructor at Tribe, Benny believes in pushing limits (no surprise there, since we can tell from his dedication to his environmental cause he isn’t messing around). As a teacher, he talks about taking his students through the class and really helping them improve. As he says charismatically -- “it doesn’t matter if they’ve hurt something” or “they’re not good enough at something”, he believes with the right guidance and proper mindset, any progress is progress.
