Find Yourself with Asmine Koh

Happiness is truly a state of mind for Asmine. When we first meet Asmine, (pronounced Jasmine),  the first thing we notice is her independent and free spirit, (gentle but with a hint of playfulness), and the big smile that lights up her face when she talks and moves.
An ex SIA stewardess, Haus instructor, and a founder of her own company, “The Wild Child”, Asmine creates beautiful tablescapes and graphic designs for various companies, including Haus. As she explains her creative process, Asmine lights up, and what we notice and love most is Asmine’s genuine desire to create celebratory moments that are meaningful through the sharing of her craft with the world, as illustrated by the adorable Happy Birthday banner she holds up for us while we visit her home.

As we switch gears, we follow Asmine to Haus, her second home. A boutique gym located in OUE Downtown that focuses on strength and conditioning, you can immediately tell, as we follow Asmine through the gym that her energy is transformative. As she gathers spoonfuls of peanut butter in the kitchen (a quick snack), runs through her drills with tenacity and precision (she rips through throwing a 10kg sandbag with immense ease), and jumps around as we talk with her, we’re enthralled by Asmine’s natural effervescence.

During her workout, Asmine tells us that Haus is more than just a gym. It’s “more of a family” she says, softly, and that “sweating together”, and “delivering an experience” is what the Haus Athletics family is all about.  We have no doubt that that’s true here, having witnessed Asmine showing us through all the steps to what makes a unique “Haus” workout.

A “Haus” is not a home, and definitely,  “Haus” is not a family without Asmine. We’re excited to share with you Asmine’s story, and hope you find Asmine on ClassPass, and definitely check out Haus when you have the time.
